Call for Submissions: SEADL Undergraduate Paper Award 2025
Deadline: July 31, 2025

The Southeast Asia Digital Library (SEADL) invites undergraduate students from affiliated institutions to submit original research papers in Southeast Asian Studies for the 2025 SEADL Paper Award.
Prizes
- First Place: Choice of two books from Cornell University Press
- Publication: Both first- and second-place winning papers will be published on the Southeast Asia Digital Library
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be current undergraduates at a SEADL-affiliated institution at the time of submission.
- Papers must:
- Focus on Southeast Asia
- Reference primary sources
- Be written between Spring 2022 and Spring 2025
- Be 2,000–10,000 words, excluding references
- Include a cover page with name, title, affiliation, and contact info
- Be submitted as a blind PDF (no identifying info in the paper)

Increased consideration will be given to papers using materials from SEADL collections.
