Are you curious about careers at the State Department? Interested in learning more about applying and working in a foreign service role? Join us for an insightful session with career diplomats Shannon Dorsey and Drew Schufletowski as they discuss their work experiences and share tips on landing a foreign service job.
Speakers:
- Shannon Dorsey – State Department Diplomatic Fellow at the East-West Center. She has served as the Cultural Affairs Officer at the US Embassy in Tokyo and held roles in the Bureau of Global Talent Management and the East Asia and Pacific Affairs Bureau. Her extensive experience includes public affairs and consular roles in Southeast Asia and work in cultural programs and diplomacy.
- Drew Schufletowski – Career member of the Senior Foreign Service and current Foreign Policy Advisor to the Commander, US Army Pacific. He previously served as the Minister Counselor for Economic, Environment, Science, and Technology Affairs at the US Embassy in India.
