English Language Specialist Program

Purpose
Engages top-tier TESOL professionals in high-level projects abroad or virtually, supporting U.S. Embassy programs and public diplomacy efforts.
Project Scope:
Specialists work on projects such as curriculum development, ESP program implementation, and leading teacher training workshops. Projects range from two weeks to three months and can be either in-country or virtual.
Compensation
- $300/day for in-country activities.
- $60/hour for virtual activities.
- Living allowance for in-country assignments covers lodging, meals, and local transportation.
- Round-trip airfare and regional travel (if applicable) are covered for in-country projects.
Eligibility: Applicants must:
- Be U.S. citizens.Hold a graduate degree in TESOL or a related field.
- Have at least 10 years of full-time experience in teaching or English language training.
- Demonstrate experience in teacher training and professional conference presentations.
Application Deadline
Reviewed on a rolling basis. Being part of the available candidate pool does not guarantee selection for a project.
