Fulbright-National Archives Heritage Science Fellowship

The Fulbright-National Archives Heritage Science Fellowship offers scholars the opportunity to work with experts at the National Archives and Record Administration’s Heritage Science Research and Testing Lab in College Park, Maryland. This fellowship supports interdisciplinary research in heritage science, conservation, and preservation, enhancing the care, management, and accessibility of cultural and historical artifacts. The program aims to foster international collaboration in heritage science.
Duration
5 to 12 months, beginning September 2025.
Eligibility
- Must be a citizen and resident of Ghana, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Sri Lanka, or Taiwan.
- U.S. citizens or permanent residents are ineligible.
- Requires a Master’s degree; Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Advanced Doctoral researchers working on heritage science-related dissertations are eligible.
- Experience in heritage science or archival research is preferred but not required.
Amount of Funding
Modest stipend to cover living expenses, settling-in, and professional development.
