Fulbright / Kennedy Center Fellowship for Performing Arts And Science
Application Deadline: March 15, 2024 (for the 2024-2025 academic year).
The Fulbright / Kennedy Center Fellowship for Performing Arts And Science allows selected scholars to work with the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., to explore the intersection of performing arts, science, and wellbeing. Fellows will collaborate with Kennedy Center staff, artists, and scientists to create projects that address themes such as sustainability in the arts, environmental awareness, mental health, and therapeutic arts. This fellowship emphasizes international collaboration and aims to develop projects that contribute to both the Kennedy Center and the fellow’s home community.
Duration
3 to 10 months, from September/October to May/June.
Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of and resident in Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Morocco, Turkey, or South Korea.
- A Master’s degree or equivalent experience required for performing arts candidates; a Ph.D. or equivalent experience for science applicants.
- Demonstrated experience in performing arts or science with a strong interest in the intersection of arts, science, and wellbeing.
- Not eligible if a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or dual citizen.
Amount of Funding
Variable, including stipend for living expenses and allowances.
Scholarship Benefit
