Webinar (In person): Recent Developments in Indonesian Politics

This presentation discusses recent developments in Indonesia, especially over the past year, as the country emerged out of a sustained period of COVID-19 disruptions and lockdowns. Placing 2022 in context, it also evaluates some of the larger debates around Indonesian politics and explores where the country may be headed in the waning years of the Jokowi era and beyond.
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Kimura joined the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa in 2007, and is currently Associate Professor of Political Science and Affiliate Faculty with the Center for Southeast Asian Studies. His teaching areas of focus include but are not limited to global and comparative politics, Southeast Asian politics mostly in the area of Indonesian politics.
