UHM CTAHR Hosts Cochran Fellows; Day of Presentations Upcoming


The Cochran Fellowship provides exchange opportunities between American agriculture professionals and their counterparts from developing countries related to land, farming systems, food production and government policies on food safety and trade business in the United States.

The University of Hawaii at Manoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) is hosting seven USDA Cochran Fellows from Thailand, funded by the USDA-FAS including an (1) Economist, (1) Project Director, (1) Policy Analyst, (1) Environmental Officer, (1) Senior Ag Researcher, (1) Senior Hydrologist, and a USDA-FAS staff member. A day of presentations covering topics related to agriculture and collaborations between the US and Thailand will be held on September 19. Schedule is below; talks pertinent to Thailand are bolded.
